Blasts of Color!
During the spring and summer months, Colorado’s Front Range sparkles with patches of color. Wildflowers dot the high plains, while residents and the Loveland Parks staff fill the region with a variety of colorful flowers.
For this post, I returned to the Gardens on Spring Creek. It is located in Ft. Collins, only a few miles from home. I had been waiting for a slightly overcast day with little or no wind.
The various species of flowers bloom at different times, so it was possible find some in peak form, some losing their petals and some just beginning their summer blooms. The 18 acre Gardens at Spring Creek is immaculately maintained, and well worth the trip!
