Zombies, once again, roamed the streets of Loveland. Some say they followed the railroad tracks from the cemetery on North Garfield into the heart of downtown Loveland. No one knows why, nor how long they will haunt our sleepy little city.

This well attended “Zombie Crawl” was sponsored by Loveland Aleworks on the west edge of downtown. Darla and three or her friends, Zia, Chris, and, Serenity, dressed for the occasion and made great models. These photos were taken hand held with a Sony A1 body and a Tamron 35-150mm lens. As the ambient light dropped, I added a Sony off-camera strobe, usually held by one of the other husbands. A commander unit attached to my camera controlled the strobe. I shot the strobe in TTL mode and allowed Auto ISO to complete the proper exposures. Most of the dramatic effects were applied in post processing in Adobe Lightroom.
